Super Sitter Clinic

Super Sitter Clinic will be held Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Harding Hall 4-H Building. Registrations are due to the Stockton Extension Office by May 13, 2016. (Registration Form)

Fishing Clinic

boy fishingA fishing clinic for any 7-12 year old who wants to learn more about fishing will be held June 7, 2016 at Webster's Stilling Basin.  Clinic will be from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost: $10.  Fishing poles, bait, and  a light lunch will be provided.  You may bring your own fishing poles.  Registration forms are due to the Phillips-Rookds District Extension, Stockton Office my May 27th.  Registration form

Day Camps for Kindergarten to 2nd grade youth

Rooks County Junior Leaders will be offering several day camps in July for Kindergarten to 2nd grade youth.  All camps will be 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and will be located at the Harding Hall 4-H Building, Rooks County Free Fairgrounds. Snacks will be provided.

  • July 12, 2016 - Arts & Crafts with Barb Henson $15.00
  • July 14, 2016 - Foods & Nutrition and Team Building with Anna Muir $10.00
  • July 19, 2016 - Photography with David Dunn $10.00

Rooks County Horse Practices

The Rooks County Horse Practices are just around the corner. The Horse Project Leader is Liz Stamper. You must attend at least 3 practices to show at the Rooks County Free Fair. The horse practices will all be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Rooks County Fairgrounds Frank Smith Arena or the Plainville Saddle Club Arena. The schedule will be as follows:
